To learn the Exalted Warrior Pose, watch a demonstration by Denise Austin in the video above.

 

  • Hold the pose for 30 seconds on each side.
  • Breathe deeply while holding the pose.
  • Adapt the pose to suit your level of fitness. For example, do not dip as low if you have trouble holding the pose, or keep your legs closer together if you are having trouble balancing.

 

Try other Warrior poses, such as the Beginner Warrior and Reverse Warrior, as part of your yoga routine.
