Martin Yan Recipe

It's hard to beat beets. They are healthy for the body, and some studies suggest beet root juice helps increase blood flow to the brain, which may also be beneficial to brain health.

Prep/Cook Time: 25 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 beet root, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 3 ribs celery, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and cut in half

  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in a juicer, a few pieces at a time. Juice and enjoy!
