What does AARP Staying Sharp offer in the app?
The app features several challenges including Is My Memory Normal, Faces & Names and Digital Declutter. The Staying Sharp app will continue to add science-based challenges. Be sure to allow push notifications from the app for alerts when new Brain Health Challenges are available.
A Brain Health Challenge is a fun, guided interactive learning activity that starts with a pre-quiz. Then you’ll go through steps to learn new skills, practice them and choose activities to add to daily life. Finish the challenge by completing the post-quiz. The goal is to be smarter about brain health and find new healthy habits to help you live your best life.
Anyone can download and preview the app. Included in the preview is a video overview for Brain Health Challenges. AARP members, Staying Sharp subscribers and other authorized users can start and complete the Brain Health Challenges, save activities and articles to My Plan and sync your progress with the AARP Staying Sharp online program.
If you choose to turn on notifications, the app will send reminders to complete activities you’ve started in the app and alert you when new Brain Health Challenges are available. Please know that your wireless service provider’s connectivity or usage rates may apply.
